5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely beautiful. This weighs a bit more than I anticipated and sounds better as well
I have no qualms about saying this is the best wireless Bluetooth speaker that I’ve purchased. There are about 5 that I have bought and this one surpasses all of them; easily. Surprisingly deep bass, nice mids and very good highs (not bright, not too dull; just right). The sound profile was full but not too bottom-heavy and it is the nicest looking electronic item I possess. This speaker looked nice in the sale listing but it looked way better in person.

This speaker is not small but also not huge. It keeps a fairly small footprint as far as width but it does take up some vertical space. I am happy to say it wasn’t wasted as I really enjoy listening to my audio books, newer music, classical, R&B and as of late, Christmas music. It handles everything that I throw (wirelessly) at it. My favorite usage has been to use this as a speaker for one of my Echo Dot (Gen 2)’s. It gets MUCH louder and sounds so much better. Volume does not equal quality to me (just giving a reference point for my judgement). I’ve long been a lover of music and in turn, quality speakers. My home theater setup is made up of Klipsch towers, rears and a sub. This is not quite on that level but it is great.

The appearance is something I really like. I am a sucker for chrome, matte metal or just about any metal, honestly. This is more of a unique looking speaker that is not “gadgety” like some others. This also weights circa 2 plus pounds. As far as a portable speaker, it isn’t the most inclined to be movable but it does move and is indeed portable. I’m not taking it to the beach, however. The LED on the back is a nice blue that can be changed by lightly pressing the power button but it is more of an afterthought to me. The bottom of the feet are nice and are a bit rubberized and keep the speaker in place (more on that in a bit).

Sound:

I was skeptical of passive radiators helping to provide too much bass. This speaker has changed my mind quite a bit as it booms out so hard that when turned up to full volume (to test it), there was no distortion but it was thumping so hard, it was physically moving the speaker a bit. I remedied that by making sure the legs were flat on the surface of the wooden table and it stayed put. The mids were great and the highs a bit more on the warm side but not too much.

Battery:

The battery is pretty good and lasted over the advertised time. As I mentioned this before, I am using this with an Echo Dot and it lasted a full day. Only playing music for about 2 hours. I’m reluctant to take this outside or anything like that as I do not want to drop it or get it damaged.

This was packed very well and secure. Frankly, I was worried but the packing made it come through fine.

This is a nice speaker that I love and have in the living room now. I hope to have it there for years to come.
